What is B3? Good question, I didn’t know either before this review but what I’ve come to find out is that this brand is a winner.

B3 was founded by NYC based makeup artist and CEO, Julia Dalton-Brush. Let me say that I do not know Julia personally but I wish I did because I would love to know the secrets that she used to create this amazing skincare brand.

After testing out this brand, I have come to the conclusion that B3 is a game-changer. It is one of the first all-natural, handmade brands that I actually use on a daily basis. I’ve used a few organic brands in the past but for various reasons they didn’t seem to work for my kit or they would become rancid before I could even use the product.

I’m incredibly excited to write a review about B3 because it can be challenging to jump from makeup artist to full-fledged beauty brand owner but Julia has definitely inspired me and a whole host of others to try their hand in it because this brand is here to stay.

Here are a few of my top favorite products from B3. Try them out for yourself. I am willing to bet that you won’t regret it!! Enjoy!!!

Veritas Lip Oil $15

This was the moment I fell in love with B3. This lip oil is different, to say the least. Once I put this on my lips, I couldn’t go back. The hemp, jojoba, avocado and moringa seed oil combined to make sure that I never have chapped lips again. This formula was really smooth and I don’t get that weird film that peels off after a few hours.

Venus Facial Mist – $20.00

A little mist goes a long way. The spearmint in this facial mist helps to cool the skin while the witch hazel helps fight off bacteria.

Marula Oil – $38

As a child, I suffered from psoriasis and boy do I wish this oil was around during that time. This oil is great for people that suffer from dry skin and also those that suffer from dry skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. And according to the B3 website “the linoleic acid that is an omega-6 essential fatty acid as well as omega oleic acid helps to heal those disorders as well.”

Squalane – $20

Did you know that our body naturally produces squalane? And as we age, we don’t produce as much of it. This oil that is found in olives is helping me replenish my squalane but also just a side note, you can use it in your hair too! 🙂

Hydrating Facial Moisturizer – $20

This facial moisturizer is filled with everything you need to create a superpower moisturizer. According to B3, “It contains Aloe Vera Juice, Shea Butter, Fractioned Coconut Oil, and Squalane which are the most hydrating elements available. The Tea Tree Oil, Rosehip Oil, Lavender, and Frankincense oils give you everything you need to protect and rejuvenate your skin from daily environmental damage.” That’s enough to make me give it a try. I really love the fact that these products are organic and all-natural.

Lip Scrub – $22

This all-natural sugar scrub is great for dry and cracked lips. It helps to exfoliate and hydrate. Lip scrubs are a great addition to any skincare regimen.

Body Balm – $20

I really liked this body balm BUT it was a little too greasy for my liking. My suggestion, don’t wear silk before this dries out. LOL!! Other than that, this balm was really hydrating and kept my skin hydrated all day. The coconut oil and cocoa butter felt great on my skin as well.

Peppermint Lip Balm – $15

This product dried down on my lips too much and felt like I didn’t have any lip conditioner on at all. While I loved the Veritas Lip Oil, this product didn’t really do it for me. It is anti-aging so that’s definitely a plus for me to use it again!
